Held from March 4-7 at the Bonnie Doon Golf Club, Zunic shot an opening-round 68, before backing it up with a 65, 67 and final round 69 - to finish at 15 under.
The event was won by Victoria's Andrew Martin (18 under), ahead of Queensland Charlie Dann (16 under) and five golfers on 15 under.
This result has secured Zunic his PGA card for the 2021-22 season.
He will now head north for the Queensland Open, an event he won in 2018.
Following his Queensland trip, Zunic will contest the NSW Open at Concord.
Strong finishes in these two events will help Zunic achieve his goal of securing a top-10 spot in the PGA Order of Merit.
By doing this, Zunic would lock away a start in the final stage of the European Tour School and Korn Ferry Tour School (which were both cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19).
