Australia's largest short film festival tour will be returning to Huskisson after it was cancelled due to COVID-19 last year, this Saturday, March 13.

Celebrating its 30th year in 2021, the festival will showcase the Best of Australian Shorts programme at the Huskisson Pictures.
A collection of favourites from this year's Bondi festival will be shown, including the first short film by a regular Huskisson visitor Rebekah Jackson, 'The Girl in the Coffee Shop.'
"The film is about an illustrator who wrote a book about a girl that he sees at his local coffee shop but has never spoken to," said Rebekah.
"And his publisher says he has to get clearance from her to write the book about her. So he's in a bit of a conundrum."

Rebekah and her family spent countless summers in Huskisson and she said she couldn't wait to add another visit to the list. With a background in acting and post production, she is thrilled to have her film screen in Huskisson after it was set to air at last year's event before COVID hit last March.
"Going to see real audiences was one of my favourite bits of being a part of the tour in Sydney last year," said Rebekah.
"I love the short film format because it gives audiences a little quick fire taste of their style."
Rebekah also directed this year's Moulin Rouge inspired Flickerfest trailer.
"The festival moved into the Spiegeltent in Bondi so we were tossing up a Moulin Rouge idea," she said.
"Baz Luhrmann, for any Australian director, is such an inspiration of what you can achieve in your career, so it was nice to play with the extravagance. When I was in year 10, I even wrote him a letter asking for work experience."
Another highlight of the festival is the best animation winner 'Roborovski'.
Winning the Yoram Gross Award For Best Australian Animation at Flickerfest 2021, Roborovski sees actors Tilda Cobham-Hervey and Dev Patel step behind the camera and follows the adventures of a miniature hamster seeking revenge. The short film was penned by the writer of Happy Feet, John Collee.
