Shirley and Barry Rolph of Huskisson celebrated an incredible milestone on February 26 - their 72nd wedding.

After meeting in 1945, Shirley and Barry were married in St Stephen's Anglican Church, Lidcombe in 1949. They moved into their first house in Regent's Park in 1955. They lived in this house for many years and created happy memories with their three children Kenneth, Susan and Carolyn.
In 1975 they purchased Regent's Park Hardware and moved into the flat above the shop and in1983 they moved into their holiday house at Wombarra where they stayed until they moved in 1986 to Streamside Street, Woollamia.
They opened a lolly shop, 'Shirley's Sweets Lolly shop' in Nowra and their children and grandchildren enjoyed many holidays at the Woollamia property on Currambene Creek.
In 1999 they moved into Huskisson and lived there until only recently going into care.
Shirley and Barry's love and commitment to each other has survived the trials and tribulations of 72 years and their family are grateful for their caring and support.
Their three children and their partners, six grandchildren and partners and 11 great-grandchildren wish them a very happy anniversary.
