NUMEROUS South Coast rugby league products will feature for their respective NRL squads during this weekend's trial matches.
Headlining the weekend's fixtures is the annual Charity Shield game between St George Illawarra and South Sydney at Mudgee.
Gerringong's Jackson Ford and Tariq Sims, Shellharbour's Trent Merrin, Albion Park-Oak Flats' Adam Clune and South Coast Black Cockatoos' Jayden Sullivan are all part of the Red V's 24-man squad, while Nowra-born Cody Walker, fresh off captaining the Indigenous All Stars side, will start at five-eighth for the Rabbitohs - during Saturday's clash from 6.30pm.
Elsewhere Kiama's Mitch Rein will start at hooker for the Titans in their match with the Warriors at Lismore - with the latter's squad containing Milton-Ulladulla's Jack Murchie (bench) and Shellharbour's Euan Aitken (centre), who will be making his debut for the club.
Albion Park's Drew Hutchison will start at halfback for the Roosters in their trial with the Raiders at Queanbeyan's Seiffert Oval on Saturday.
Pambula-born Jack Williams and Narooma's Teig Wilton will start from the bench for Cronulla-Sutherland, in the Sharks' all-Sydney clash with the Bulldogs at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium - while Bega's Dale Finucane will co-captain the Storm against the Knights at the Albury Sports Ground.
Then on Sunday, Gerringong's Reuben Garrick and Cobargo's Morgan Boyle have both been named in the Sea Eagles' run-on side to face Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval.
