The forum will be held at the St Georges Basin Community Centre at 21 Merriton Street from 4.30pm-6pm.
The forum is being held to promote a discussion on how bushland areas are recovering from the Currowan fires and what issues this raises for the ongoing management with particular emphasis on private landowners
Topics to be discussed include fauna, bushland regeneration, birdlife, management regrowth and pest control.

Speakers at the forum will include -
Environmental scientist, Nicholas Carlile, who will present a review of Australian research on how different fauna species recover from fire, including the impact of drought.
Landcare coordinator, Sonya Reyes, will report on the actions undertaken in the post-fire landcare grant projects and the lessons learnt from this work.
Rob Dunn, of Birdlife Shoalhaven, will present their Bushfire Research project, which is working to document and understand the impact of on Shoalhaven birds.
And Al Stratton from the Shoalhaven Fox Control Project, will present ideas and options for extending their control program further into fire-impacted areas.
The event will be followed by refreshments, depending of course on any COVID-19 restrictions.
