Paul Steven Walter Hillsdon, born in April 1978, was charged with stalking, armed with intent to commit indictable offence, resist officer in execution of duty, assault police officer in execution of duty (without actual bodily harm), and possessing an unauthorised pistol.
About 10pm on Tuesday January 26 police were called to a home in Culburra, following reports a man was threatening a woman known to him.
Officers from South Coast Police District attended and found a 42-year-old man standing in the doorway of the property, with his arms behind his back.
Police say when the officers directed the man to show his hands, he allegedly produced two black imitation firearms and pointed them in the direction of the officers.
Police disarmed the man and arrested him.
He appeared before Magistrate David Williams at Nowra Local Court on January 28.
He did not apply for bail, and bail was formally refused. His case is next listed for mention at Nowra Local Court on January 29, 2021.
