You could see the joy in their eyes as a group of young cricket players took part in a school holiday program on Wednesday.
The youngster took part in the Sydney Thunder's Holiday Program which was a one-day cricket program for five-12-year-old boys and girls of all abilities.
The event was held at Hayden Drexel Oval and the participants enjoyed every moment of it.
Most of the Shoalhaven District Cricket Association club had players represented at the coaching day.
The Sydney Thunder teamed up with Woolworths Cricket Blast to provide a Big Bash League inspired experience for the children with the emphasis on fun and participation.
Experienced Community Cricket NSW coaches were joined by volunteers at the event.
Activities, on the day, included cricket blast skills and cricket blast games with the session looking to develop batting, bowling, and fielding skills.
The conditions were perfect which allowed the children to really get stuck into the activities.
