Over the years the section of Junction Street, between Kinghorne Street and O'Connell Lane has undergone a variety of changes.
It has been transformed from being a through road to Nowra Lane and O'Keeffe Avenue through to what was East Street (now the Princes Highway deviation) to traffic to being closed, affectionately renamed the "Flying Nun" after shade sails were installed and then reopened to single lane traffic.
The area has been used to host events, numerous rallies have been held there, or as an vantage point to watch things like the Shoalhaven Spring Festival, Shoalhaven River Festival, with the inaugural event in 2013 being one of the biggest events Nowra has seen, and Christmas parades or being the centre point of Christmas celebrations.
So what do you think should happen to Junction Court in the Nowra CBD?

Shoalhaven City Council has received positive feedback from the community following the recent use of Junction Court for a Christmas event and is now seeking community feedback on possible improvements to enhance the use of this space.
The Nowra CBD Revitalisation Committee is preparing a grant application to attempt to secure funding from the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment's 'Your High Street' grants program to help improve and revitalise this important public space.
The public is encouraged to provide early feedback by completing a short online survey.
As part of the online survey, council is asking for community input on what is important to you about Junction Court and feedback on the possible upgrade of the area.
The feedback will be used to inform the grant application that will be submitted by the end January.
The outcome of the application will not be known until later in 2021.
This grant application is being prepared with the assistance and support of the Nowra CBD Revitalisation Committee, with the survey closing at 5pm on Thursday, January 21.
