Booderee National Park will reopen to most visitors on Thursday following a temporary closure from midnight on Monday.
But people from the Northern Beaches, Greater Sydney, Central Coast and the Wollongong local government area will not be permitted to enter the Jervis Bay Territory.
A spokesperson said Parks Australia was committed to taking appropriate precautionary measures ollowing the latest COVID-19 cluster in Sydney's Northern Beaches.
And will be working closely with the Jervis Bay Territory, traditional owners from the Wreck Bay community and Australian Federal Police.
For those who are able top visit Booderee National Park from Thursday it will continue to operate under COVID-safe health and safety protocols.
And will remain closed for camping.
From Thursday passes will be available for day use only and are presently free due to the fee waiver in place until 31 Dec 2020.
Parks Australia says it regrets the disappointment caused to visitors from restricted areas such as Wollongong but looks forward to welcoming them back once restrictions have been removed.
"Visitation restrictions to Jervis Bay Territory align with those of the ACT Government and we encourage visitors to remain informed by visiting the ACT Government's latest COVID-19 updates," the spokesperson said.
"We will continue to monitor the advice of medical authorities and the government, and work with traditional owners to ensure we continue to protect the local community, visitors and staff. We thank our visitors and the community for their patience and understanding."
