'Preferred' bypass route a disaster
I would like to express my disagreement with the 'preferred' plan of the bypass from north of Milton to Canberra Crescent. This will leave the narrow stretches of the highway between Canberra Crescent and south of Burrill Lake and the north and south of Lake Tabourie totally congested and dangerous. With the increased population in the area, the existing roads have already become congested in peak hours. It will get much, much worse with more visitors during weekends and holidays. I believe that the only sensible and practical option is to bypass the area between Milton and Lake Tabourie.

We need it now
Yes the Milton Ulladulla by-pass plan is obsolete at the southern end but the northern end is not and it is needed now. So just building two lanes of the northern end to Crooybar Rd and the Bishop Ave/Highway intersection off-ramp is not money wasted as it will form a part of the overall bypass. There is no heavy engineering here and it would solve 50 per cent of our problem by spending 10per cent of the money. So please, please, please get this bit going without delay.

Let's get this right for once
I'm writing about my dismay regarding the preferred Milton Ulladulla bypass route. I strongly feel that, for the bypass to be effective in solving our increasing traffic problems, it needs to fully bypass our townships including Milton, Ulladulla, Burrill Lake and Lake Tabourie.
I feel that the preferred route is 20 years too late and would be a huge waste of taxpayers money. We already have ineffective traffic solutions in Ulladulla. Two roundabouts that even this week are bumper to bumper with congestion. The roundabouts should both have been double lane which would have allowed local traffic to merge more easily. Also Burrill bridge which would have been so much more effective with dual carriageways south and north.
Let's get this one right for once.

Robodebt silence defeaning
With the Federal Police quick to raid whistleblowers, journalists and unions, when are they going to investigate the $1.2 billion fraud committed against 440,000 of our most vulnerable by the federal government?
Who was responsible and when will they be prosecuted? Also the silence of the press on this issue is astounding, is this what Germany in the 1930s was like?

Flight costs sky-high
The carping criticisms of "Scotty from marketing", his mates Josh Frydenberg, Peter Dutton and others' use of an RAAF VIP 737 to attend Lachlan Murdoch's 2019 Christmas dinner is nothing but "complete Socialist rhetoric"! With Australia in the midst of its worst ever bushfire crisis, its roads blocked by flames and fallen trees, how else could "The Three Amigos'" attend the Murdoch Christmas Party but by a VIP flight? Yes, in these tight fiscal times, $5000 does seem a little excessive. But do we not all have a duty of care to our employees? Having them cruising in comfort high above the flames and choking smoke had to be much safer than at ground level even if in a Commonwealth car.
The cost to taxpayers of the return RAAF VIP flight Canberra /Sydney/Canberra was put at $5000. Serves to highlight the arrogance of "Beehive Bronwyn Bishop's" $5000 cost to taxpayers for her 80km helicopter trip. Australian taxpayers are currently forking out $4000 an hour for Matthias Cormann's personalised "Job Seeker program", making the RAAF VIP flight by "Scotty from Marketing," Josh Frydenberg and others to attend their boss's 2019 Christmas Party exceptionally small beer by comparison!
