If all goes well, COVID-19 restrictions permitting, they will hold the 37th Shoalhaven Eisteddfod in May to June 2021.
At this stage, all previous competitors have been notified that the Syllabus and Entry Forms are on the group's website www.shoalhaveneisteddfod.org.au.
The Shoalhaven Eisteddfod organising committee will make a decision at the end of January about whether the 2021 Eisteddfod can go ahead.
There will be several new sections, if the event goes ahead, in vocal and dance.
The new event are: 230 and 231 Pop or Country, 245 Song from Stage, Screen or TV Show, 250 and 251 Contemporary Song, 252 Junior Contemporary Championship and 840 and 841 Hip Hop.
These sections cater for changing popularity in the performance world, particularly in the younger age sections.
The Shoalhaven Eisteddfod organising committee also hopes to use some new venues with the most suitable dimensions and facilities for each section - so standby for more information after January 30, 2021.
On the committee's website www.shoalhaveneisteddfod.org.au schools, groups, individuals can review the syllabus and be ready with their entry forms if we give the go-ahead at the end of January.
No entries will be accepted before February 1, 2021.
