Police are appealing for information after reports of a child being approached at East Nowra yesterday.

About 8.10am Tuesday, November 24, an 11-year-old girl was standing at a bus stop on Clipper Road, near the intersection of Kalandar Street, when she saw a white van parked across the road with a male sitting inside.
Police were told the girl became frightened when the man got out of the van after five to 10 minutes, walked around the bus stop and stood behind a tree.
The girl ran home and alerted her parents.
The incident was reported to South Coast Police, with officers beginning an investigation.
As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them.
The man is described as being of Aboriginal/ Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged in his 30s, 165cm - 175cm tall, of medium build, with a tattoo on his right forearm and a full black beard.
He was wearing a baseball cap, beige shorts and white shoes.
Police are appealing to anyone who might have been in the area on Tuesday and witnessed anything, to come forward.
