"And we're really looking forward to welcoming the local community through the doors when we open."
The new Bunnings Warehouse Nowra will be more than 60 per cent bigger than the original warehouse.
"It spans more than 17,000 square metres," Mr Jenkins said.
The new complex will expand from the previous gross floor area of 6,248 square metres to more than 17,000 square metres, with parking to be extended from the current 225 spaces to 428 spaces.
The hardware and building supplies warehouse, includes a garden centre above an undercroft car parking level.
The new design will see the former complex layout on the site flipped, with the timber trade area moving to the south of the property, and an outdoor nursery and bagged goods canopy moving to the northern end.
The construction also includes a café, office, amenities, service road/ramps and loading areas.
