For the past three years a 30 kilometre community walk organised by Huskisson resident, Joanne Warren has raised more than $30,000 for Supported Accommodation and Homelessness Services Shoalhaven Illawarra (SAHSSI)
While Covid restrictions have put a stop to the Sahssi30 walk, a picnic will be held in its place.

The Covid safe picnic will be held at White Sands Park in Huskisson on Wednesday, November 25 from 5pm.
"This date is International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women and this community event seemed like the best way to acknowledge it," Jo said.
Everyone is encouraged to come along, bring your family, friends and food and make a donation to help bring joy to the Nowra Women's Refuge in December.
"The team at the refuge have asked if we would be able to raise funds for the Christmas event that they try to make extra special each year," Jo said.
Jo is partnering with Bay and Basin Amnesty, Huskisson CWA and Vincentia Heartcentre to hold the community picnic. Raid your wardrobe for all things purple or orange - Sahssi's colours.
If you can't make the event, donate online at https://www.sahssi.org.au/donations/ Just write 'Our Community Cares - Nowra Women's Refuge' and your donation will go straight to this cause.
Jo said she's looking forward to seeing everyone at the November 25 picnic - and again in 2021 where there will hopefully be plenty more walking and talking to come.
