* Victoria has no new COVID-19 cases or deaths for the second day in a row
* The last time the state had two consecutive days of no new cases was March 5 and 6
* The state death toll remains 817, the national figure 905
* The 14-day rolling case average is 2.8 for Melbourne, down from 3.6, and steady at 0.2 for regional Victoria
* Six mystery cases in Melbourne for the fortnight to Saturday, none for regional Victoria
* 87 active cases across the state, including two in regional Victoria (both in greater Shepparton)
* Five people in hospital, none in ICU

* Seven active cases involving healthcare workers

* Eastern Health Box Hill Hospital (active five, total 15)

FINES
* 30 fines handed out for breaching the chief health officer's directions across the state, including four for not wearing face masks. No fines came from vehicle checkpoints
RESTRICTIONS
* Major easing of Melbourne restrictions from midnight Tuesday, with all retail to reopen. The same applies to cafes, restaurants and pubs, with restrictions on numbers
* Melburnians limited to travel within 25km of home, but no longer any restrictions on reasons for travel
* Strict rules around household visits - one visit per day by two adults and any dependents to another home. Visiting adults and dependents must be from the same household. Either home cannot make or receive any other visits on that day
* Outdoor gatherings capped at 10 people, but can include people from up to 10 households
* Face masks must still be worn at all times when outside the home
* Several other restrictions also to be eased at midnight on Tuesday
* As of November 8, the 25km limit and Melbourne's "ring of steel" to end. Further easing of restrictions across many categories. Melbourne gyms to reopen.
