In playful two-foot peaks on Saturday, Cairncross, a Jones Beach Boardrider, took out the under 12 girls section, by registering a combined score of 20.27 across the two finals - finishing ahead of Evie Fisher (Gymea Bay), Alice Hodgson (Kiama Downs) and Mia MacMahon (Norah Head).
While Werri Beach Boardriders' Payne topped the rankings in the under 10 girls, finishing with a combined score of 17.1, to edge out Malia Simon (Port Kembla), Ally Folsom (Coogee) and Jaime Paipa (Cronulla) for the title.
In an event that had close to 80 competitors participate, other winners Woolooware's Ollie Croft (under eight mixed), Avalon's Locana Cullen (under 10 boys), Newport's Rene Galloway (under 12 boys), Curl Curl's Ruby Trew (under 14 girls) and Freshwater's Fletcher Kelleher (under 14 boys).
