Bomaderry Lions have provided SALT Care with a new mower and whipper snipper, which will be used by SALT to help people to gain employment, learn about lawn care machinery and also provide lawn care to people in the community who need their lawn looking after.
Bomaderry Lions president Bob Mortyn said it's a "win win situation!"

"SALT will use the mower and whipper snipper to teach the skills which will also hopefully lead to future employment," he said.
"And as part of the program locals who need their lawns looking after will also be helped.
"SALT's Pastor Peter Dover approached Bomaderry Lions with the request of the machinery, and explained the purpose of what the mower and whipper snipper would be used for.
"We were fully supportive of the project, while local business Dave Hill Marine also got behind the project and assisted in getting the equipment at a very competitive price."
