Perhaps the teddy bears are having a long picnic - because if they have gone, they've taken their sign with them.

The sign in question is the teddies crossing sign which normally graces the main street in Tambo on the Landsborough Hwy about halfway between Mount Isa and Brisbane.
The sign announces you have arrived at the Tambo Teddies shop in town and is a popular Instagram selfie spot.
But on the weekend Tambo Teddies told us the bad news someone had stolen the sign.
"Our Teddy Bear Crossing signs have gone. We don't know who has taken them or why," the team at Tambo Teddies said.
"Do you know someone who suddenly has a Teddy Bear Crossing sign? If so - tell them to return them please"
Tambo Teddies said the sign was only really useful in Tambo and they were a Tambo icon.
"Please help get our Teddy Bear Crossing signs returned - we won't be cross - we will just be pleased to have them back," they said.
The Tambo Teddies shop was established in 1992 when wool prices had crashed and the district was in the grip of a drought. Three women came up with the idea to create teddy bears from wool pelts and stuff them with wool. Almost 50,000 bears later, the shop is still going strong.
