THE combined Shellharbour Swans/Bomaderry Tigers outfit has won the 2020 AFL South Coast Illawarra under 17s premiership, by outlasting the Kiama Power 6.4-40 to 2.3-15 in Sunday's decider.

At North Dalton Park, Ash Priest's Swans/Tigers started strongly, jumping out to a 2.1-13 to 0.0-9 lead at quarter-time.
The red and whites extended their lead to 14 by half-time, before two third-quarter goals saw the Swans/Tigers go into the final period with a 23-point advantage.
There was no coming back for the Power, who were restricted to just two goals all afternoon, as the Swans/Tigers ran out winners 6.4-40 to 2.3-15.
In the 25-point win, Lachlan Cabor kicked two majors, as Samuel Maher, Fergus Priest and Thomas James also hit the scoresheet - with Taj Treweek and James Phillips also starring in the victory.
This grand final was just one of seven played at North Dalton Park on the day.
In the under 11s, the Wollongong Lions downed the Albion Park Crows 9.10-64 to 1.0-6, while Kiama accounted for North Districts 10.12-72 to 2.3-15 in the under 13s.
The under 13 girls premiership was won by Figtree, who edged Kiama 6.4-40 to 2.0-12 - with Norths ousting the Kangaroos 5.6-36 to 1.2-8 for the under 15 girls crown.
Shellharbour dominated Norths 13.8-86 to 0.5-5 in the under 15s final, as the Hollymount Oval-based Tigers took home the under 17 girls title by holding off the Power 5.7-37 to 3.4-22.
