Multi-award winning pastel artist Jane Wray will hold a solo exhibition at the Old Fire Station in Kiama from October 2-7.
The exhibition, called 'Frolic', was inspired by the need to let loose after some challenging months.

"I think we all need a bit of a lift right now," Mrs Wray said.
"I chose works that are bright, uplifting and exiting - I'm always attracted to things that look dynamic, so it wasn't hard to pull together."
Mrs Wray, who is an exhibiting member of the Royal Art Society, said since moving to Kiama her focus had been on coastal scenes.
She has also been exploring the intersection between abstraction and realism.
A favourite among her experiments, 'Limelight' will feature in the exhibition.
"It's a reflection into a pool that I saw on a walk," she said.
"I've exaggerated it and given it a different depth. It could be seen as abstract or as realism."
Mrs Wray, who works exclusively in soft pastels, recently won first prize in the 2020 Pastel Society of Australia awards.
Her works can also be viewed online at www.janewrayart.com or on Instagram at janewrayart.
'Frolic' will be open from 10am-5pm, Friday October 2 until Wednesday October 7.
