The Federal Government has announced $6 million for the upgrade and construction of three roads in South Nowra.

Central Avenue and Bellevue Street will each receive $2 million for an upgrade and Sextand Street will also get $2 million but for construction.
Senator for New South Wales Jim Molan said the timing couldn't be better.
"This vital funding will allow communities right across the country to fast-track their highest-priority infrastructure projects, providing a much-needed boost to local jobs and the economy," Senator Molan said.
"I am pleased to see 5 projects across Gilmore will receive a total of $7,254,787 to do exactly that at a time where it couldn't be needed more."

Gilmore MP Fiona Phillips also welcomed the funding.
"For months, I have been asking the government to provide more stimulus to help the South Coast recover from what has been one of our toughest years," she said.
"Every investment in our community is great news for local people, local businesses and local jobs."
In Gilmore $850,000 was also committed towards the Garlandtown Bridge widening and approach road and $404,787 for the Crooked River Bridge cathodic protection design and installation.
