The southbound lanes of Nowra bridge will be closed for two nights on Wednesday September 30 and Thursday October 1 for routine maintenance and deck repair work.
This is not part of the Nowra Bridge project.
To minimise disruptions, these works will be carried out between 8pm and 5am.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction, with both traffic streams using the northbound bridge.
A reduced speed of 40 km/h will be in place in both directions.
Transport for NSW asks motorists to drive to the conditions, follow the directions of signs and traffic control and allow up to five minutes extra travel time during the work.
There will be some noise associated with the work, with noisier activities scheduled earlier in the night.
