Chief executive Guy Chalkley said the energy provider is searching for talented individuals who reflect the diversity of the communities it serves.
Mr Chalkley said almost 10 per cent of the Australian population is located in Western Sydney and is projected to reach three million people by 2036. And there is also considerable growth on South Coast where applications are also being sought.
There is also major infrastructure activity occurring in the region's it serves such as the Western Sydney Aerotropolis and Western Sydney International Airport.

Mr Chalkley said that is because the new recruits from Western Sydney and the South Coast will get to start their careers and become part of a new generation of enthusiastic tradespeople in a thriving economic hub delivering new jobs, homes, infrastructure and services.
He said the 12 new apprenticeship positions were part of a significant investment in job creation by the Endeavour Energy Board as the company endeavours to better serve its customers and communities.
"We are after people from all kinds of backgrounds to help us build a diverse and inclusive workforce while developing skilled team members to meet our future needs," Mr Chalkley said.
"The successful candidates will start their apprenticeships at our Hoxton Park Technical Training Centre, one of the most modern, purpose built, electrical training facilities in NSW.
"Central to their apprentice training will be learning to do their jobs in a way that keeps themselves, their work mates and the community safe."
After meeting strict performance criteria, apprentices will graduate after four years training with a nationally recognised Electrotechnology Electrician qualification.
Successful applicants will start their training in March 2021.
