The 'Lockdown' Exhibition showcased photographs of the stunning dawns and dusks captured by Shoalhaven Heads' locals during COVID-19 times.
The exhibition which featured a number of locals' works have been displayed at the Heads Hotel, with licencees Leslee and Lee Maddinson generously provided space for the exhibition.
Mother and son, Anne and Hudson Boatswain were two of the 20 photographers who exhibited sunrise and set photographs in the exhibition.
Anne, who has a home-based business, regularly visits her favourite vantage point at the end of River Road to observe sunsets and relax after work.
She also encouraged Hudson to capture some stunning sunsets.
His photos of the iconic Mt Cullunghutti (Coolangatta) were some of the favourites of many visitors to the Heads Hotel.
Former Illaroo Road Public School teacher Kerrina Swords was the Lockdown curator.
She has regularly curated art exhibitions in the school's Long Gallery during her 28 years there.
"We also had a wonderful exhibition of student photography at the Shoalhaven Regional Gallery, 'Do You See What I See?' so it was a lovely opportunity to put another exhibition together now I've retired," she said.
Some of Kerrina's images include Shoalhaven Heads abundant birdlife taken at a great sunset and bird watching spot at the end of Hay Avenue.
Toby Bacchus' vibrant photos include the silhouettes of her sons enjoying the river, beach and ocean.
It is hoped these photographers and many more will provide images of the area's amazing bird life for the 2021 Shoalhaven Heads Bird Haven Festival.
