Outside the Bomaderry Train Station on Monday, September 7, Kiama MP Gareth Ward, South Coast MP Shelley Hancock, Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole and Premier managing director John King announced the extra Saturday services.

Route 101W to the UOW Shoalhaven Campus will have an additional service at 5:15pm, Route 131 has been altered to provide a new service to the new Bomaderry shopping complex and Route 135 will add a new return service to Sussex Inlet on Saturday.

The routes with additional services include 101, 102, 110, 111, 112, 120, 130/139, 131. 132 and 135.
Minister Paul Toole described the new routes as "quick wins" and said the services would connect people in different parts of the town.
"As a minister I want to see people using public services as their first choice not their last choice," he said.
"In many cases there is probably a public bus that drives past someones door that can give them access to the local community."
Face masks are not compulsory on public transport and the NSW Government has no plans to change that in the near future.
"At the end of the day we encourage people to wear masks but it is a personal choice," Mr Toole said.
Mr Toole said masks were only one part of stopping the spread.
South Coast MP Shelley Hancock said the announcement was a "real boon" for the community who had been asking for the additional services.
"Transport in the Shoalhaven has been identified for a long time as the most important issue, that's because we have so many villages and towns that are so isolated from each other."
