At the Bomaderry Sporting Complex on Sunday, they accounted for fellow contenders Shellharbour 30-22, to improve to 3-1 in 2020.
It took just four minutes for the hosts to open the scoring in the round six Group Seven fixture.
Sharp interplay by halves Dylan Farrell and Josh Coulter put centre Bradley Manton into space before the latter floated a pass out to his winger Kuyan Wellington to score.
Fellow winger Braydon Walsh converted the four-pointer and it was 6-nil.
Nine minutes later, the lead was doubled when Coulter found a charging Mason Harrison, who stepped inside his man to score.
Things got worse for the visitors in the 19th minute when Farrell hit centre Ryan James before the latter offloaded back to his skipper - who then powered his way over the chalk.
Walsh's conversion made it 18-nil and the hosts were going at close to a point a minute.
But in the 24th minute, the Sharks finally woke up and Kade Sampson stepped inside James to score their first of the afternoon.
Skipper Matt Carroll, who assisted Sampson's try, couldn't convert and it was 18-4.
Minutes before the break, the visitors had their second - this time lock Brody Rigg received an inside pass from hooker Kiran Tranter to score next to the sticks.
Carroll's conversion made it 18-10 at half-time.
Twelve minutes after the resumption, James scored for the hosts by using his quick feet to beat three would-be defenders.
Walsh's perfect game with the boot continued, making it 24-10 after 54 minutes.
With 14 to go, the match was sealed for the hosts when Farrell held off three defenders to reach out and score his second try.
Walsh's kick extended the lead to 20 points.
In the final four minutes, the Sharks scored two late consolation tries through Jacob Seabrook and Liam Scott - which made it 30-22 with one Carroll conversion.
The victors now take on the Knights at the Kiama Showground while the Sharks will look to rebound from back-to-back losses against Berry-Shoalhaven Heads.
