At Rugby Park, a double from outside back Blake Gurney, as well as a try from skipper Steven Brandon and five kicks from Harri Hibbs (three penalties and two conversions), secured Shoals their third win of 2020.
The Shoals, coached by Paul Connor, now sit in third on 13 points, behind only Avondale (25) and Campbelltown (20).
The former moved to 5-0 thanks to an easy 36-nil win against Vikings, while Campbelltown edged Camden 21-19.
The final match of round five saw Shamrocks down Tech Waratahs 29-14.
In second grade, Shoals also defeated the Cows 31-14.
Next round, Shoals travel north to take on second-placed Harlequins at Campbelltown's King Street Oval.
