THE round for the St Georges Basin Dragons opened with the under 15 boys B securing a second place on the ladder with a 4-1 win over Shoalhaven United Polars.

Craig Rowley, Dylan Spargo and Brayden Saunders all found the back of the net.
The under 15As had a 3-2 loss to Shoalhaven Heads-Berry despite Hayden Musson scoring a brace.
The team sits in fourth position on the ladder, only one point behind Heads.
Saturday juniors saw the under 12 girls secure another win, defeating United 16-1.
Lily Heckenberg scored a staggering six goals, Leilani Bagley four, Matilda Dicker and Genevieve Gallemore both got a brace - as Bridie Hilton also got on the scoreboard.
The girls currently sit second on the ladder, two points behind Heads, whom they have not played yet.
The Dragons' under 13 boys B had a 2-1 win over Heads with goals from Josh Cash and Noah Angus.
The boys sit fourth on the ladder.
The under 13 boys A sit in second place on the ladder after a 5-nil win over Illaroo Green.
Nayt Perez scored a hat-trick while Koby Thompson and Jett Kingma also scored for the team.
Basin's under 14 girls had a tough game at Culburra, losing 7-1.
Marcelle Holden was the team's scorer.
With a couple of wins, the girls still can make finals.
In senior men, the over 35s had a 2-nil win over Sussex with Ash Hale and Ben Cubbo scoring for the team.
The men sit in second position on equal points with first.
Saturday seniors saw Basin hosting Illaroo.
Third grade resulted in a 1-all draw with a free-kick from Craig Holden deflecting off the post and being followed in by Sun Rattanpakdee.
Ryan Marr had a fantastic game in goals winning many one-on-ones with Illaroo attackers.
The reserve grade match lifted in intensity from the moment the whistle blew with both teams hungry for the first goal.
But four minutes in it was Archie Brown who got Basin off to an early lead.
Jordan Reid and Zac Stahlhut both scored shortly before half-time resulting in a 3-nil lead.
Illaroo had its chances but Basin's defence and Dave Coventry's goalkeeping was too strong - as the game finished 3-nil.
First grade was also an important match for Basin.
An opening goal from Illaroo in the opening minutes of the game had the crowd unsettled but not the Basin boys.
The team did not let the early slip rattle them.
A fast attack from Dane McGinn resulted in a goal in the 13th minute.
The game continued to be an intense one with an Illaroo goal disallowed for being offside and Basin not scoring again until the 54th minute when Tim White headed one over the keeper.
The game was sealed in the 92nd minute when Tyrone Nye-Williams, who was just substituted on, put one into the back of the net, securing a 3-1 win for Basin.
Third grade women had the bye on Tuesday night and currently sit in third position. Reserve grade had a 3-all draw against Milton-Ulladulla with Crystal Foster scoring a brace and Sarah de Vries adding the other goal.
Reserves also sit in third place.
First grade had a 2-nil loss to Milton and remain in fourth place on the ladder.
