While the early teams played in ideal conditions, later games experienced rain on an already wet surface.
The under sevens and nines Warriors stood tall and enjoyed the wet conditions.
The under 14s Warriors played Thirroul in a game hampered by rainfall.
Both teams withstood the damp conditions, although the slippery ball was consistent throughout, as the Warriors ran out winners 22- 6 - thanks to solid performances from Malakai Essex, Alex Ward and Danahi Mundy-McGilvray.
This week in round six, three proud Nowra Warriors will be celebrating 100 games in front of a home crowd at Lyrebird Park.

His contribution to the game as halfback and goalkicker, as well as a talented team player, shows he is a star of the future.
He is a proud captain, who led his team to a 2019 premiership.
Under 14 Warrior Zac Cruickshank also commenced playing with the under seven Warriors at age six.
He is a talented front-rower who is not only dominant in defence but has a great attacking ability.
Zac was named man of the match and a titled ' a future NRL star' during the team's 2017 grand final.
Hugh Regan is a proud fourth-generation Nowra Warrior, who commenced playing with the Warriors in the under sevens.
He is a solid team player who prefers playing in the hooker or fullback position.
A prominent player who finds the tryline and featured strongly in the 2017 and 2018 grand final wins.
The club congratulate the above players and thank them for their contribution to the club - while wishing them all the best in their 100th match.
