Roundabout will make it worse
A roundabout will make congestion at the intersection even worse by slowing the highway's southbound traffic and causing it to bank up. The Jervis Bay Road traffic still have to give way to the right at the roundabout and the Jervis Bay Road traffic will queue up worse than it is now.

It's about time
The only solution to keep the traffic flowing on Jervis Bay Road and the Princes Highway is definitely a flyover. It's about time.

Don't make it more dangerous
If we don't get a flyover, the highway will be more dangerous than it is now.
L. Moore, Ulladulla
The only safe answer
A flyover is the only answer here, where Jervis Bay Road intersects with the Princes Highway. Jervis Bay is one of the life-bloods of the Shoalhaven tourism industry.
Even outside holiday times this intersection presents danger with risk-taking driving behaviour after queue-sitting for extremely long periods, particularly during holiday times (when traffic typically queues for one kilometre or more), weekends and peak traffic times. For those not familiar (and locals with daily familiarity) this situation creates frustration, pressure to "move" and hesitant, then rapid, uncertain and risky decisions. I have seen and experienced this many, many times.
There is no solution other than a flyover that will adequately deal with the demands of the Jervis Bay Road-Princes Highway currently, let alone in the future.
Please do not waste taxpayers' dollars on a half-fix , inadequate for even current commuting conditions.
K. Barnes, St Georges Basin
The safest option
I fully support a flyover as this is the safest option going forward as the area grows and gets busier.

Something must change
I dont believe a flyover is a good idea because it is too much over-development but I do believe that something need to change.

Ward names should change
I recommend adjusting the council ward name to titles which the electors can easily relate to. Thus I suggest: North Ward, Central Ward and South Ward.

Where else did they go?
It is great The Cove has been cleared and cleaned, but where did these guests come from and where did they go? Are they in quarantine and registered. Where are they now?.They could be spreading the disease for all we know. Did they stop at shops and food venues?

Sydney people should be excluded
Why was one business named? That's not fair on them. All Sydney people should be excluded at the moment.

Time close down Sydney
Perhaps it's time to close Sydney down and stop them coming here for a few weeks.
We need to protect our region.
We're already struggling after bushfires and floods without having careless people bringing COVID-19 to add to our difficulties.
