THE Jamberoo Superoos have produced a convincing all round display to score their first win of the Group Seven season after comfortably accounting for Berry-Shoalhaven Heads Magpies 24-6 on Saturday.

The Superoos produced four classy tries in their win on a heavy Berry Showground, with the second half slipping into a tough slog for both sides on the heavy surface, despite the persistent drizzle easing and sun finally peering through.
After a first round, one point loss to Kiama and a second round bye and last round's washout, the Superoos were quickly out of the blocks and in just the seventh minute, strong lead-up work from hooker Daniel Burke and lock Luke Asquith gave front-rower Jayden Morgan a saloon passage to score under the posts.
Fullback Kurt Field landed the conversion for a 6-nil lead.
That soon became 12 when Mark Asquith again showed his amazing strength when he got the ball 25 metre out and close to the sideline to power through a host of would-be defenders to score in the corner.
Field again converted and the writing was already on the wall for the Magpies.
Despite the conditions, which should have suited the bigger but less-mobile Berry side, it was Jamberoo who continued to dominate and in the 30th minute, a blindside raid by replacement prop Kieran Pierce gave centre Jake Clarke room to move and he easily beat four defenders in a 30 metre dash to the corner.
Field was again on target with a sideline conversion and the visitors were able to go to halftime with a commanding 18-nil lead.
The home side would have been desperate to score first after the break, but it turned into a nightmare when just a minute after the break, Mark Asquith cleverly grubbed-kicked through the line before toeing in ahead and Field was on hand to scoop up the kick and dive over near the posts.
He then added the conversion and any chance of a Magpie comeback looked a long was off at 24-nil.
To their credit, they did manage to put some life back into the game 10 minutes later when Bill Ryder crashed over from close range and Billy Hayburn converted for 24-6.
The rest of the game developed into a battle, but after not playing since July 24, the Superoos will be happy with the two points that will keep then in the top group of teams with a big game at home next week against the Jets.
The Magpies, with three straight losses, will be desperate for a win next weekend when they travel to Kiama Showground to play the Knights.
Jayden Morgan, Jake Clarke, Kurt Field, Corey Grigg and Mark Asquith were among the best for the Superoos, while Bill Ryder, Blake Phillips and Luke Ryder all tried hard to lift the Magpies.
