A West Nowra woman who returned a breath reading more than four times the limit after drinking six gins has been fined $1500 and lost her licence for six months.

Virginia Joy Blain, 43, pleaded guilty to high range drink driving in Nowra Local Court on Monday, August 10.
Court papers said members of the public raised concerns with police about her level of intoxication while she was in the Nowra East Shopping Centre car park around 7pm on June 24.
Police attended the car park and saw Blain in a Toyota Camry and undertook a breath test that returned a positive reading of 0.293.
A breath analysis back at the Nowra Police Station returned a reading of 0.202.
She told police she'd had six gins mixed with various soft drinks, with her last drink at 5.45pm.
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming fined her $1500, disqualified her from driving for six months and ordered she have an Interlock device fitted to her vehicle for two years.
