The victory marked her third over 1900 metres at the Sydney venue, with the five-year-old finishing last campaign with back-to-back wins at the distance.
Tochi has struggled this preparation, with the Prices conceding they were disappointed with how she returned from a spell and jockey Tommy Berry agreed.
"She hasn't come back in great order this prep," Berry told Sky Racing.
"She was definitely going better last time.
"She hasn't come into coat yet and just doesn't feel she's going as well as she was last time in, but toughness and determination is what got her home."
The stable will assess Tochi in the following days, with a spell a possibility.
"We've had [three] runs on heavy, heavy tracks now," Luke Price said.
"I'll see how she pulls up, I like to look after her."
