Gareth Michael Edward Charles Hornley, 34, had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Court papers had alleged between 4am and 11.15am on October 29 at Callala Bay he recorded an intimate image of a woman and distributed it.
Nowra Local Court Magistrate Gabriel Fleming dismissed the charges after a hearing on July 28.
