At a wet Ison Park, Samara Wehmeyer scored her fifth goal of the season for the Brumbies, to give her team the lead after 41 minutes.
But 22 minutes later, Josephine Rings cancelled out that goal for the Panthers.
Despite numerous attempts from both sides to steal all three points, both sides walked away with one each.
Charlotte Ryan had a night out for the Sharks, finding the back of the net on six occasions - taking her season tally to nine.
The victors' other two goals were scored by Jo Higgins and Bridget Buckley.

Following Tuesday's play, the Heads lead the competition on 12 points, ahead of Callala (10), Basin (six), Milton (four) and Illaroo (three).
Next round, Callala host Heads and Illaroo takes on Basin - with Milton having the week off.
