Four people have been arrested following an investigation after more than 50 parked cars were damaged in the Illawarra/Shoalhaven region over the past three weeks.

More than 30 cars parked in the residential areas of Lake Illawarra, Mount Warrigal, Oak Flats, Barrack Heights and Barrack Point had windows and mirrors smashed between Thursday and Friday, July 16-17.
Similar incidents were reported in the Nowra, Kiama and Shell Cove last Friday, July 24, with more than 20 cars damaged.
The incidents were reported to police and investigators from Lake Illawarra Police District's Anti-Theft Unit started inquiries.
About 2.15am on Wednesday, July 29, police responded to reports of car windows being smashed in the Oak Flats area.
A man, two women and a teenage boy were located on Shellharbour Road, Warilla.
They were arrested and taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station.
An 18-year-old man and 20-year-old woman remain in custody.
A 14-year-old boy and 19-year-old woman were released pending further inquiries.
Inquiries are continuing.
