After falling 80-52 to ERNA Hawks on debut last week, the new franchise, featuring Shoalhaven's Elecia Parrott and Shelby Mallon, will look to bounce back in round two of the NSW Premier League's opens division.
It will be a special game for Blaze goal attack Brittany Berry, who will be up against several former teammates.
Berry said she had learned a lot playing for the Panthers last year.
"It was such a step up from anything I'd played before, the physicality and speed is so different to other competitions," she said.
"It was great to be able to push myself and hopefully I'll be able to do the same this year, to push myself to be a better player."
Meanwhile, the Blaze's under 23s will look to build on their first victory when they also meet the Panthers on Wednesday night.
The Blaze began their 2020 campaign in perfect style with a 52-46 win over the Hawks last week.
