After a tough round against Sutherland Shire the weekend before, the quartet of teams were keen to rebound on Sunday against Gladesville Ravens.
The day kicked off with Ian Rankin's under 14 Southern girls.
Behind goals from Kate Drinkwalter, Maddison Harris and skipper Gwendolyn Eyland, Southern ran out winners 3-2 - despite a brace from Sienna Beram for the visitors.
Unfortunately, the winning streak stopped in the under 17s fixture when Luke Nolan's side lost 5-nil - with Mia Duncan and Eloise Knox scoring a hat-trick and brace respectively for the visitors.
The final match of the day, featuring Brad Banks' first grade side, ended in a 3-all draw.
Amanda Carney, Bronte Wright and Peta Cottington all found the back of the net for Southern, while Carlie Ikonomou, Annabel Forbes and Georgia Vlangos scored the Ravens' goals.
Next week, the youth teams play the first of their three double-headers of the season, when they host St George Saints on Saturday, before playing Western NSW FC on Sunday - with both lots of fixtures being played at Ison Park.
The first grade side has the bye this round, before taking on UNSW FC in round four on August 9.
