Next Sunday's event is the fifth round of the 2020 Optus Series, which will be held as a 54 kilometre handicap race on the Braidwood Road long course.
The Allen Price and Scarratts team won round four and are now in equal second position with Access Storage.
The series is led by the green and black Coffeeliscious team.
The Allen Price and Scarratts team have a rider leading the individual points series with Hubert Driehuis.
Hubert is one of the Nowra Velo Club's veteran riders who has consistent performances over a variety of events.
Without a race win this year, Hubert has been a consistent starter in the Optus Series events with high finish positions in all rounds.
He finished second to Steve Daley (Access Storage) in last week's D grade scratch race and this position elevated him to the lead position in the individual points classification.
Daley is in second overall position with 75 points, just three points behind Hubert.
Brendon Miller (Coffeeliscious) is in third position with points accumulated in the pre Covid section of the Optus Series.
Then Curtis Trkulja (Allen Price and Scarratts) has moved into fourth position following his win in the NVC B grade race the previous weekend. He shares this position with Miller.
Curtis is a rapidly improving junior rider with the Nowra Velo Club with a great climbing ability and sits just eleven points behind Hubert Driehuis going into the fifth round of the series.
The team leader board going into next weekend race has Coffeeliscious on top with 150 points.
Then follow Allen Price and Scarratts and Access Storage in equal second position with 120 points each.
Last years Optus Series winning team was Hanlon Windows.
They are in fourth position on 90 points.
This team have been slow off the mark this season and they await the return to racing of their top points scorer, Levi Johns.
