It comes after a minor flood warning has already been issued for the area for Monday, July 27.
Further moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast until Tuesday morning. This rain is currently causing minor flooding in St Georges Basin at Sussex Inlet.
Moderate flooding is expected for St Georges Basin on Tuesday afternoon.
St Georges Basin at Sussex Inlet is currently at 0.99 m and falling with minor flooding. St Georges Basin at Sussex Inlet is expected to peak at 1.10 m around 02:00 am Tuesday on the high tide with minor flooding.
A second peak of 1.20 m is expected around 02:00 pm Tuesday on the high tide with moderate flooding.
