Close 90 competitors are expected to enter each stop in the series, apart from South Australia and Tasmania, which will see some of the nation's most promising young surfers competing for a range of prizes.
Regarded as one of the major stepping stones in the development of young Australian surfers, the 10-event series caters for surfers from under 8s to 14s and will be held in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia, Tasmania and South Australia over summer.
"This national series is a fun and friendly introduction to surf competition and has helped form the careers of some of Australia's best professional surfers," Surfing Australia head of events Beau Brenchley said.
As an added bonus, the respective winners of the under 14 boys' and girls' divisions from each event will receive an invite to attend an all-expenses-paid, three-day national final surf camp, (one day coaching clinic, two days of competition and heat analysis coaching) at the Surfing Australia High-Performance Centre (HPC).
Following the first event in Kiama from September 5-6, series will stop at the Northern Beaches (September 12-13), Cronulla (September 19-20), Coffs Harbour (September 26-27), Torquay (October 24-25), Clifton (October 31), Trigg (November 7-8), Fleurieu Peninsula (November 14), Gold Coast (November 21-22) and Sunshine Coast (December 12-13) before the final at Casuarina's HPC from December 18-20.
