On Friday, the competition made the decision to postpone the start of the modified season - scheduled to kick-off at the weekend - due to crowd limitations.
But Group Seven Rugby League operations manager Debbie Rowley confirmed on Monday the junior competitions would commence this weekend.
"Thank you for everyone's patience and understanding for the delay of the 2020 season for our juniors," Rowley said in a statement.
"Good news - we will be kicking off this weekend.
"We cannot wait to see the kids out there."
Ahead of these matches, NSWRL has released a number of guidelines for 'essential' participants to adhere to, including keeping your 1.5 metres distance at all times, don't attend if you are feeling unwell, one adult per child and arrive/leave as close to the game times as possible.
Despite the juniors scheduled return to the field this Saturday, the senior competition is still slated to begin on Saturday, August 1.
