There were ominous signs for the black and golds at Bomaderry Oval, after striker Brendan Kellett scored two goals in the first five minutes.
Nathan Aldridge's troops continued to keep their foot on the throttle, with Jordan Haddow and Brodie Chapman also scoring first half goals.
Whatever Alex Dicker said to his troops at the break worked, as the Bears scored the match's next two goals through Shane Button and Isaac Quirque.
But any hopes of a comeback were dashed in the 72nd minute when the visitors' skipper Shaun Aldous was given his second yellow card and dismissed.
One minute later, Kellett completed his hat-trick before Ben Seyffer iced the game in the 81st minute, to secure the Tigers their second win of the 2020 Blackmore Bolden Shield.
Aldridge's Tigers are now on six points, sitting behind only St Georges Basin and Sussex Inlet - who are both on seven.
The Dragons continued their unbeaten start to the modified season by downing Shoalhaven Heads-Berry 2-nil at Vic Zealand Oval.
Tim White and Fraser MacQueen found the back of the net for the visitors in the win.
While the Seahawks drew nil-all with Milton-Ulladulla at Lighthouse Oval.
Elsewhere, Callala proved too strong for Culburra at Culburra Oval - winning 2-nil thanks to goals from Nick Evans and Brandon Politano.
The final match of the round saw Illaroo upset premier Huskisson-Vincentia 3-2 at the Huskisson Sporting Complex.
A Lewis Archibald own-goal opened the scoring for Illaroo in the 23rd minute, before Hayden Strand doubled the Roos lead just after half-time.
Sam Swan made it 3-nil in the 62nd and the visitors thought they were home.
But two quick goals from Archibald and Jordan Godley set up a grandstand finish - only for Rob Hawker's men to slump to their first loss of the season.
The Roos first win of 2020 moves them into equal-fourth place on the ladder, alongside Heads and Callala - who are all on four points.
The Panthers are one point further back, with Huskisson and United on two and Culburra on zero.
Next week, Milton-Ulladulla host Culburra, United take on Heads, Illaroo battle Bomaderry, Basin clash with Callala and Seahawks entertain the Seagulls - who are still searching for their first win of 2020.
