A man is being flown to hospital after an accident on Pitt Street, North Nowra, this evening.

A NSW Police spokesperson confirmed the accident happened at about 5.25pm on July 8, and involved only the man and his motorcycle. The man is understood to be in his early 20s.
It is understood the rider is suffering severe bleeding, and has been taken by ambulance from the site of the accident to the Toll Air helicopter at Drexel Park.
A number of pyjama-clad neighbours were out in the frigid evening to see what had happened. It is understood the driver had been driving on the street for some time before he hit a tree.
It is the third severe accident on Shoalhaven roads in a week.
Last Wednesday, July 1, Ulladulla High School student Zoie Bell was struck by a bus and killed outside her school.
On Sunday, July 5, a fifteen-year-old boy on a BMX bike was struck by a ute while crossing Bridge Road in Nowra. He was flown to hospital in a serious condition.
Nowra police have urged drivers to take care on the road.
