Shoalhaven Riverwatch has held a working bee to clean up its mangrove nursery on the banks of the Shoalhaven River at the Nowra Golf Club.

Eleven Shoalhaven Riverwatch volunteers lent a hand to clear out the silt and ash deposited following the recent fires and flood.
"We were surprised just how much ash and charcoal has washed down the river and deposited along the banks and in our nursery," said Riverwatch project manager Peter Jirgens.
"We will have 250 mangrove plants ready to plant out in early October along the river."
