A man will face Wollongong court today charged with a spate of break and enters in the Kiama area.

Between April 16 and June 6, 13 businesses were broken into on Terralong Street and Manning Street, Kiama, police say.
"The incidents were reported to police and officers from Lake Illawarra Police District's Anti-Theft Unit commenced an investigation," a NSW Police spokesperson said.
"Following extensive inquiries and a public appeal for information, police attended a home on Trevor Avenue, Lake Heights, last on Thursday, June 25 and attempted to speak with a 40-year-old man.
"The man allegedly fled on foot, jumping neighbouring balconies to avoid apprehension.
"Police executed a search warrant and located multiple items alleged to be the proceeds of several recent break and enters in the Kiama area."
Police returned to the home yesterday on Monday, June 29 and arrested the man.
The man was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station, where he was charged with 12 counts of break and enter, steal from dwelling and dispose of stolen property.
