With Manyana withdrawing from the then nine-team competition last week, the SDFA called an emergency board meeting on Monday to discuss its senior competition - scheduled to kick-off this Saturday.
Following the meeting, it was established the Cougars and Seahawks would become the ninth and 10th sides in this season's nine-round first grade competition - before finals kick-off on September 5.
After the draw was amended for the 14th time, reigning premiers Huskisson-Vincentia will open their title defence against St Georges Basin at the Huskisson Sporting Field.
Elsewhere, Bomaderry will host Callala, Milton-Ulladulla entertain Shoalhaven United, Sussex battle Illaroo and Shoalhaven Heads-Berry take on Culburra - with all fixtures kicking off at 3.30pm.
In terms of the women's draw, Shoalhaven Heads-Berry will face Milton-Ulladulla at Vic Zealand Oval on Tuesday, July 7 (from 8pm) - the same date St Georges Basin battle Callala at the St Georges Basin Sporting Complex.
Reigning premiers Illaroo will have the bye in round one.
