NOWRA'S Nic Maddinson has been rewarded for his exceptional season with the bat, by once again being named in Victoria's squad for the upcoming domestic cricket season.

Maddinson, who was named joint Sheffield Shield Player of the Year in March, is part of interim coach Lachlan Stevens' 28-man squad.
Joining the former Bomaderry High School student, who also won last season's Bill Lawry Medal, in the squad are Cricket Australia contracted players Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell and James Pattinson.
Jake Fraser-McGurk, Jonathan Merlo and Mitch Perry have all been upgraded to full-time contracts, after being in rookie deals in 2019/20.
Brody Couch, Sam Elliot, Tom Jackson, Cameron McClure, Patrick Rowe and Todd Murphy are this year's rookies - with leg spinner Wil Parker being the other new addition.
Rounding out the squad are Scott Boland, Xavier Crone, Travis Dean, Zak Evans, Sebastian Gotch, Peter Handscomb, Sam Harper, Marcus Harris, Mackenzie Harvey, Jon Holland, Tom O'Connell, Will Pucovski, Matthew Short and Will Sutherland.
