State Crime Command's Robbery and Serious Crime Squad detectives have arrested and charged a man with drug and counterfeit money offences as investigations continue into an armed robbery and attempted armed robbery in the Shoalhaven last year.

State Crime Command detectives established Strike Force Dalwood to investigate an armed robbery at the Sussex Inlet RSL Club in July 2019 and an attempted robbery at Club Callala at Callala Beach in September 2019.
As part of ongoing investigations, strike force detectives executed a search warrant at a property at Sussex Inlet about 7am on Wednesday, June 3.
During the search, investigators seized methylamphetamine and counterfeit cash. A hydroponic set up was also located in a rear shed, and 12 plants were seized.
Following inquiries, police arrested a 40-year-old man during a vehicle stop on Sussex Inlet Road.
He was taken to Ulladulla Police Station, where he was charged with cultivating a prohibited plant, possessing a prohibited drug and possessing counterfeit money.
He has not been charged in relation to the armed robberies.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Milton Local Court on Thursday, July 16.
Investigations under Strike Force Dalwood are continuing.
