Thursday saw former Batemans Bay Tiger Brad Arthur guide his Parramatta Eels to a big 34-6 win against the Brisbane Broncos - despite the efforts of Moruya's Rhys Kennedy.
Then on Friday, Kiama's Josh Morris marked his first game for the tri-colours with a win against South Sydney 28-12.
Strong play by Morris and his twin Brett enabled the reigning premiers to record their first win of the season.
Friday also saw Milton-Ulladulla's Justin Holbrook drop to 0-3 on the season with his Gold Coast Titans, who were smashed 36-6 by North Queensland.
The fresh start of Milton-Ulladulla's Jack Murchie at the New Zealand Warriors got off to a perfect start at Central Coast Stadium on Saturday, cruising to a 18-nil victory over the Dragons - a side which featured Gerringong pair Tariq and Korbin Sims and Pambula's Euan Aitken.
Later that afternoon, Pambula-born Jack Williams and his Sharks went down 28-16 to the West Tigers, as Bega's Dale Finucane and his Melbourne Storm lost 22-6 to the Canberra Raiders at AAMI Park.
On Sunday, Adam O'Brien (a former Batemans Bay Tiger) and his Newcastle Knights courageously fought back to draw 14-all with the Penrith Panthers at Campbelltown Stadium.
Finally, Gerringong Lions product Reuben Garrick scored one try and added two goals on Sunday as his Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles smashed the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (featuring Tathra's Adam Elliott) 32-6 at Central Coast Stadium.
